We’re holding another reverse advent this year starting on Monday 9th November!
“What is a reverse advent calendar?” is a question we get a lot around this time of year, so here’s some information to fill you in.
Reverse Advent calendars work by each day you putting 1 item aside (whether food or toiletries) into a separate box or bag for 24 days – at the end of the advent, the items you’ve collected can be donated to a Foodbank to be then distributed around the local community to the people who desperately need food parcels at this time of year.
This is a really simple, and easy way to get individuals, children, your family, groups, schools etc, involved and helping out those who are less fortunate, and at this time of year in the run up to Christmas it’s appreciated now more than ever.
