Between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018, Rotherham Foodbank provided 3,704 food parcels helping more people in crisis than ever before.
This is a 26% increase compared to the previous year. 1,351 of these food parcels went to help children. This was only possible because of the incredible generosity of the local community: individuals, businesses, churches, schools and many others. Thank you all so much for your continuing support.
We work with over 40 local organisations who refer people in crisis to the Foodbank centres in Rotherham and Maltby. The main reasons for referrals last year were delays and changes to benefits, and low income.
