"Please Vote for Us"
We are delighted that Rotherham Foodbank has been shortlisted for the Lloyds Bank Community Fund 2014 in Rotherham.
What this means is that we have the chance to receive a grant of up to £3,000 from Lloyds Bank to help us to make improvements to the Foodbank and continue providing emergency food to families in crisis in the town.
Pastor Danny Miller, the Foodbank Manager, says, "The Lloyds Bank Community Fund will make a huge difference to Rotherham Foodbank. We will be able to improve the refreshment facilities for people using the Foodbank and also buy other items we need to provide to run the Foodbank efficiently. So far this year, the Foodbank has helped almost 1400 people in the town, including over 420 children, and this grant will help us continue to help people in need."
There are four good causes shortlisted in each community and Lloyds Bank is inviting everyone to vote for the causes they would most like to support. Voting is now open and we are hoping that you will vote for Rotherham Foodbank.
