Bankuet Giving Option
Rotherham Foodbank has partnered with Bankuet, a national company dedicated to assisting Foodbanks by sourcing and delivering food products as and when they are needed. This partnership enables us to get more food for the money that you donate than we can source ourselves.
This partnership also enables our volunteers to concentrate on the other aspects of running the Foodbank.

Giving money through Bankuet offers several advantages over donating directly to our foodbank, primarily due to its “Maximiser Effect” and targeted approach. Bankuet pools donations from various sources, enabling them to make bulk purchases of essential items from wholesalers at discounted rates.
This means that for every £1 donated, Bankuet can deliver more than £1 worth of supplies to foodbanks.
Furthermore, Bankuet’s system allows foodbanks to request the specific items they are running low on, preventing overstocking of certain goods (like pasta or baked beans) and ensuring they receive exactly what is needed. This minimizes waste, reduces storage costs for foodbanks, and ultimately ensures that donations are used as efficiently and effectively as possible to meet the immediate and diverse needs of individuals and families in crisis.
