We’ve had so many incredibly generous donations coming in over the past few months, which is simply amazing!
During the first lockdown, despite the disruption to the way we would normally function, we were able to adjust and adapt, and the donations continued to increase; it’s been amazing to watch people pull together to hold collections, contactless drop-off points, and so many other creative ideas to raise awareness of the need for Foodbanks.
We’ve seen some incredible figures for the level of stock coming into our warehouse since March, which has left us in a prime position to meet the rising client needs as we’ve now entered into a second lockdown, but not only that, we’ve been able to support other local organisations by donating any left over food that would otherwise have gone to waste/OOD, so not a single item is being thrown away!
So a huge thank you to everyone who’s been donating, whether a large amount, or small amount, both are greatly appreciated! It’s because of the generosity of the local people that we’re able to continue to meet the needs the way we do, so we thank you all for allowing us to do just that!
