Rotherham Foodbank would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated food over the past few weeks: the people of Rotherham, the Department for Work and Pensions at the Dearne Valley, Eurovia, Gap at Doncaster outlet, Keep Moat, the New York Bagel Company, Northern Powergrid, Rotherham and Barnsley Junior Chamber of Commerce, Unison and Rotherham MBC staff.
The food will go to help people in crisis in the borough of Rotherham. Between 1 January and 30 September, Rotherham Foodbank gave out 672 food parcels helping 1,409 people including 517 children. This is 15% more parcels than the same period last year but 26% more people and 45% more children. We couldn’t have done it without your generous support. Thank you so much.
